I want my clown to look as scary as possible because it is a horror theme and the perpetrator needs to be as daunting and threatening as possible. Here are some idea's of the look I'm hoping to achieve:
Not only do all of these evil clowns seem to have the same features eg. red hair and red nose but what makes them evil are the eye make up. Sharp arches eyebrows give off an evil look, as well as dark triangles or rings painted on around the eye area. The mouths seem to also make a difference, an evil smile with lots of dirty, sharp or jagged uneven teeth. I am planning to encorporate these ideas into my design of my clown...
